Default Crickets Again!!!

It's nice to come back to work and have the crickets welcome me. Their over a thousand today all around the building. As soon as I walk up to work the wall is literally cover with crickets. Two employees already slipped due to the crickets. The crickets got into the walls and I can hear those pest chirping away. This brings me back to the days to where I would try and study for a finals. Not a sound can be heard outside but out of nowhere, dozens of chirping sounds can be heard. Okay enough venting this morning.

Default Those Damn Crickets!

I work in the medical field, the cricket invasion is so bad the crickets gave us 2 weeks to move out. The chirping goes on!

Crickets are annoying. However, I am thanking my lucky stars that they are not one of a million other disease causing insects.

1. Roaches (walk on poop, and then all over everything else)
2. Reduviid Bugs/kissing bugs (the cause of chagas disease)
3. Fleas (plague vectors)
4. Black Flies (the cause of river blindness)
5. Mosquitoes (malaria, dengue)

Nope. I'm good with the crickets.

When I use to deliver fast food, i'd go to some of the local military installations.
I could always spot the ones that weren't from Texas. Those from the east coast were the most freaked out about the variety and types of insects we had here. But I have to say, their roaches beat out ours on size
