For some ladies, that's their way of screening. I don't understand that, but hey....to each is own.
If I was a hobbyist, I would NEVER send a picture of myself to a provider. You have no idea of what the lady will do with it, no matter who the lady is.

+1...I don't think its safe to send a pictures... sorry....There are other ways of screening.

I don't EVER ask for pictures. To me that is intrusive and not very discreet.
I feel the same when clients ask me to send them a face photo. There is a reason why my pictures do not show my face, for my personal safety and privacy.

I don't ever ask for or send pics.. but like Bailey said, i suppose it would be nice to KINDA know who i was opening the door for. And there is nothing wrong with a Shrek lol.. I have had clients in all shapes and sizes. That doesn't bother me.. everyone has to get some, right?
