complaining to backpage

if the buffalo news or clarence bee spells a name wrong of gives the wrong date of something they or forced to print retractions. yet backpage has 90 percent of their posters put up false pictures and descriptions. when someone posts the name of a pporn star thats in a stolen picture i will call provider tell her i am from the porn stars lawyer and threaten lawsuit. i wonder if whenever we see a false ad we called backpage to complain if they were be so fed up they wouldn't tolerate false ads. oh well aint gonna change

I do not know if girls are flagging my pics or if someone in NF Canada runs the site, BUT many many times I have to repost my pics (which are real) because BP deletes my pics and leaves only one up

definitely not fair to do with an sp who has real pics that follows the guidlines compared to all the fake outs that are out there..wonder if other ladies have the same problem..

I also wonder if there is a spot to flag or delete pics on BP, because it has happened to me. If so, that might be a way to fight back against fake ads.

I remember when I was in London, on Craig List, girls were fed up with other gals flagging their ads. one sp posted that she had to repost her ad 14 times in one day.

Maybe I am a lil over the top on this, but it would be a good way to get your point across.

Also it could be effective considering it costs money to repost an ad and is a royal pain in the butt to keep checking on and reposting pics..

Anywhoo, just a brainstorm..maybe I will check into it sometime and play with my own post and see what happens and report back.

If you click "View Ad"

On the next page a button labeled "Report Ad" appears.

You are given a few choices about what to report.

That is just my "chick talk" colourful and never reaching an exact finished thought lol.

I was asking and offering suggestions/feedback.

So, thank you! That does answer my question. Would just like to see what happens when you report an ad. Wondering if you report fake ads and keep on them if it would be enough to eventually tire out some of the scammers.

Any idea if the pics or ads get pulled right away when you report an ad?

Back in the old Craigslist days, they required a certain amount of flags before they pulled ads. Don't know how BP works, but I suspect it is similar. Wonder if they look at i.p. addresses to see if it's the same person out to do you damage with multiple flags.

Sometimes I think fake BP ads are a consumer-driven problem. It seems they work for whatever intended purpose and therefore are continuously posted.

If a lady doesn't provide additional pictures that match their ad or access to their reviews, it should be an automatic pass. While thrilling, we like to play Ponce de Leon into harm's way. When meeting a lady, if her appearance is unlike her ad, just walk away, but the little head takes over.

The b.s. ads continue because they work.

Well, if anyone posted taint on Bp they would delete it lol.

It breaks the pic rules I think, but wouldn't a pic just of taint be boring or would you be licking the fleshy coloured jpeg right off your computer screen? lol

That does makes sense

I don't care about fake ads. I was trying to offer a suggestion to the guys who get burned by them.

I would almost like to make a bet that the same scammers posting fake ads might be flagging legit pics.

Which it would be interesting, like Jokacz suggested, if Bp follows what IP address does the ad reporting.
