490 Motel?

Ok after trying to get in touch with plan "A" for most of the day, texting back and forth with plan "B" til that just stopped, getting no response from plan "C" plan "D" suggested meeting at the 490 Motel. Not having any experience with the place I opted out... Does anyone have first hand experience with this place? Cost? Clean? etc? Ladies please respond as well... Thanks...BD

490 is a dump!!! Its where Drug users go for privacy to do drugs and have sexual relations with their dates, But the price of a room for a few hours is cheap. Go at your own risk

yes I do at the Gates, been using the past many years.
btw: 490 no long worth it IMHO

Cost?

25 for 3 hours upfront, dirty movies extra. You get a buck when you return the key.
Not sure how much extra the for the porn. Only got it a few times when it was given to me as a gift for repeating the place to much.

Clean?

yes and no

on the most part bug free.
Can not say that for the 490 where the risk of taking home bed bugs, crabs, or cockroach's seems much higher.
But at the Gate's in line with many of the nice Motels and Hotels in ROC. Seemingly safer of that risk of a few 3 stars and up in town.
Yet I would as I would at any Motel/Hotel, look between the sheets and under the pillows first. JUST SAYIN, as I would even at a so called 5 star.

Sheets clean and washed every time it seems. Cover and or blanket seems in line with the nicer rooms to rent. Again seemingly not so at the 490.

Rugs I wish where vacuumed and steamed cleaned more. So in that big drop IMHO
seems true also of dirt and dust to me.
490 I stop going many years ago. Changed hands then it seemed cleaning at all ended.

Bathrooms ruff yet seem clean. With one clean wash cloth and two towels and one most the time small bar of soap.

fuckers have a problem with toilet paper. Most the time ok. but way too many times none or roll almost out without being replace or a new roll at ready on the tank for when it is out.

shower ruff but work. temp control in some rooms seem a problem. drain cover loose on many.

chairs dirty yet not sticky. sticky seems a problem with the rugs at times, yet most the time not.

look before you put your stuff on the table or dresser. LOL on the dresser, I would not look in.

locks and dead bolts at most rooms work. Some need adjusting wit two rooms needing the door frame replaced. somebody must have or tried to kick the door open.

bed mattress, well some are past do replacement. most OK

hearing other rooms, not easy unless very loud.

In the end I would not over night, but for a few hours fun its safe.

PS two rooms up front much nicer with fun tubs. rate higher. Crap I forget how much, for hour or overnight. overnight a maybe up front

Gates safer going south then west of 490. Gates PD seem to keep the drug shit down.

again 490 hell no, was ok years ago for a by the hour. Way to much risk now after it changed hands years ago.

The first thing you do in either of the Rat's Nests at issue is to take the bed spread off the bed and toss it in the furthest corner of the room.

I've said this here before: Even in the finest hotels, the bedspreads aren't washed regularly. Why? It's more time consuming, difficult and costly, even with the right washing and drying equipment to handle heavy loads -- no pun intended.

The sheets, pillowcases, wash cloths and bath towels are much more manageable and these two establishments have the equipment to maintain such.

But, in the end, who knows what you may take home with you?

I recall Dancers from club 1100 would go there with customers. I recall seeing a particular dancer leave and they went to z490 hotel.

Never been to the 490. The Gates is serviceable. They want to see a Drivers license though. Keep moving and the bugs won't get you. Don't ever consider sleeping at the place.

I grew up down the road from the 490 and it was bad then. Can't imagine now.
