Bcs area lacking on the true hobbyist

I hear from so many providers that they never get interested from the bcs area. What's the deal? Brandy wine said she wouldn't come cause of no interest. Btw if ya want her to come please pm her

I used to live out there and I loved it so much. It was alot of fun but yes eccie guys hardly reply but when I put my ad on bp I seem to get quite a few calls.

Interesting.... normally this kind of "guys, please PM a particular lady" is posted in the MLR. Posting it here opens up the debate to the ladies. Good idea.

To be sure, BCS has fewer full-time ECCIE ladies than any of our other three corners.

The complaints I have heard over the years from the ladies are generally along two lines.
1) The ladies cannot get guys to prebook - or cannot get more than one guy to prebook on the day they advertise as coming.
2) Guys ask ladies to come see them and inquite of their rates, and then the guys either attempt to negotiate or complain about the rates.

Several of the ladies have travelled there with success and I am sure will continue to do so, as long as they are able to make bank.

I've texted brandywine to inquire and she told me June 30th. Granted this was about a week to 2 weeks ago. I'd be down to see her but I was just waiting.

She pm'd sometime ago saying that she was going to come to bcs on the 30th. About a week ago she pm'd again saying that she will not be coming.

My experiences with the BCS area ...

1st visit.....went ok. Nothing to call home about. But, that's the norm on a first visit in most towns. You need to establish yourself. So that didn't bother me. I did have several problems. One tried to force the bbfs issue to the point he almost got his ass kicked. Another tried it, and respected my very firm NO. Otherwise, no issues. Everyone else was absolutely no problem.

2nd visit ......attempted it. Absolutely zero interest until after I "left". I didn't make the trek. Didn't pull my ad, just to see what happened.

3rd visit.....attempted. Day of, I cancelled it. Reality was, I had one set appt. It was a one hour. And one request for bbfs (wtf is the deal with this issue!). I was in a position where I had to make a decision .....drop 300 in hotels and spend 5 hours of drive time to make 250.00. Or cancel. I made the fiscally responsible choice to cancel. And had the mods yank my ad.

Will I attempt again? There is only one way I would say absolutely yes.....and he knows who he is. If he asked me to, I'd run that way. But he is quite content coming to me. Otherwise, probably not. It's a lot of hassle to book hotels, arrange for things to be taken on the home front, clear my schedule of non hobby obligations, etc, just for it to fall through.

That's my experience. Im not saying BCS is a bad hobby town. Some seem to make it work just fine. It just doesn't for me. I've had the same experience in other places. And honestly, I've given BCS more chances than other places.

Thank you for sharing your experience. While you and I have never had a discussion about BCS, your story is virtually identical to the one's I have heard over the years about BCS.

Let me compliment both you AND Brandy - for pulling your ad and/or letting the gents know in PLENTY OF TIME that the trip is not going to happen. While the gents have a right to express disappointment that a lady is not coming, they have no right (IMO) to give a lady a hard time about giving proper notice. In my book, GREAT TCB!

Your last statement also rings true. BCS is NOT a bad hobby town... just one that seems to be difficult for some to make work..... and for the life of me... I cannot point to a rhyme or reason as to why it seems to work for some ladies and not for the vast majority that have tried. I cannot tell you the number of ladies that simply will not be back. Far exceeds those that will.
