Info On Wichita....?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I do need a bit of info about Wichita......

I have a day in my tour schedule to make a quick stop in Wichita, but have never been before. *driven through but never stopped to play *.
So what areas are the best? (easily accessible to majority of the hobby men) And what areas should I avoid?

Side Note:
I'm a stellar companion from Texas and only stay in 4+ star type of hotels that are very close to decent eateries and maybe some shopping....
