Activities: After reading some great reviews, I called Leilani this afternoon and we agreed to get together about 2:30 PM. She asked me to call her when I got to downtown KC so she could provide hotel info. I drove 45 minutes - arrived downtown at 2:30, got her voice mail, said that I was downtown and asked her to please give me a call back.

I called several other times between 2:30 and 3:15 but did not leave a message. At 3:15 I left another polite message, expressing that I hoped everything was OK with her, and to please give me a call back.
I then headed home, called several times trying to catch her and waited for a return call. I never heard a thing.

I'm providing all of this detail to make a point. When I first spoke to Leilani, she was very sweet over the phone as others have said. I'm sure it would have been a great time if we had met as planned. It would have been fine if she had called back after I had driven all the way downtown to cancel the appt. I wouldn't have cared if she called me back to cancel after I waited 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment. I honestly wouldn't be writing this if she missed our appointment because some other guy got there earlier than me and snaked my appt. time...as long as she had the common courtesy to give me a call back.

I realize that providers have a life, and that things come up and schedules change. If Leilani had an urgent situation that prevented her from making a brief phone call, then I am truly sorry.

However, in the much more likely event that she canceled without the courtesy of a phone call, then I'm glad I let everyone know about it.

I do realize that guys cancel on providers, without notice, and wasting their time is equally as bad. Unless their is an emergency, there's no excuse for not making a simple phone call.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I have found Leilani to be prompt, on-time and professional. She has always responded to my calls in a timely fashion. I never felt like she was double-booking etc. Thus far I have received very good customer service from Leilani. No complaints here. Im sure there is a reasonable explanation. For example, I have had cell phone issues before that caused delays and misunderstandings.

Some food for thought......A "rule of thumb" that many people follow is to wait a couple of days before posting a no-show/no-call review. Over the years I can't count the number of times guys have asked us to remove nsnc posts because the lady wound up supplying a reasonable explanation.

Although not applicable in this case (your review was fine), it is usually best to wait a couple of days so you have time to cool off before posting. All too often a guy is so frustrated that he lets his emotions take over and strays from the facts of the situation.

I don't know Leilani but she does seem to have a pretty good track record. It wouldn't surprise me if she has a good/reasonable excuse. Of course anyone can have a bad day so maybe she simply screwed up! Either way, I hope something can be worked out that suits both of you.

Bubba and Bottom Feeder, thank you for the good advice. You're right, I should have waited a few days. Leilani has very good reviews and whether there is a good reason or not, I should have given her the benefit of the doubt. I would have done that if I had waited awhile and cooled off.
