"Romantic lighting" may be good if I'm courting someone or dealing with an ugly woman, but I'm tired of going to a lady's incall and not having good lighting available.

Hey, I'm paying to visit with a lovely lady. I want to look at you. If I'm watching porn, I don't want to turn down the brightness to where I can't really see, I want to enjoy the full experience. I want lighting like on a movie set.

I'm paying for an in-person porn session. I want porn quality lighting.

It's fine to have soft lighting, but I want good lighting available.

I'm guilty of this one...the lights at my incall don't have the dimmer dial thing so it's a constant issue. I've tried lamps, leaving the light on in adjoining hallways and areas, candles etc.

I don't want to be so Victorian and prudish that I only get naked in the dark but on the other hand t's not sexy(to me) to feel like harsh, strong light is coming in at all angles and the guy I'm with is examining me like a prize winning heifer at the county fair. Most people(myself included) look like crap very close up, naked and in strong, porn quality lighting...I think that's why most strip clubs are pretty dark inside and have strategic colored lighting.

I have overhead lighting which is diffused through alabaster globe, 3 different lamps around the room & a floor lamp w/ a red bulb which is always lit. *red-light special anyone?* hehe Lighting is important to any decor no matter what the purpose of the room.
