Rate responses at the Review section

I am curious as to why men like to post replies to a review's listed rate.
It seems to be a VERY popular trend.

 General examples of replies:
The rate was lower/higher when I saw her
 Isn't her rate usually $___ ??
 The rate is too low/high.
The rate leads me to wonder about the reviewer's credibility.
 etc

I am looking forward to the replies!

I don't think there is anything mysterious or specific to the Hobby involved at all. People make those comments because that's what people do. If I listen to chatter around the office, one lady talks about the great deal she got on her designer purse. Another talks about the overpriced restaurant he went to the night before. Two guys argue about which body shop will fix their car for less. etc etc etc.
Money is a topic of interest to nearly everyone, so it would seem a little strange if it was not talked about in this arena. Heck, if people will bitch about paying an extra 10 cents at the gas pump, they will surely complain if they think they are paying $100 too much for an hour of fun. I am not saying that all those price discussions are logical or appropriate, but they are not really a curiosity either...at least to me.

Velvet once had a buy 10, get one arrangement.
And Liz, guys put in a lot of hours in most cases to afford an hour with a provider. It seems fairly natural to me to want more time with a provider without having to put in the extra work hours.

I actually don't notice a great deal of that type of exchange in the reviews though. There's some but not much I think.

NB,Yes, I realize you fellas work awfully hard to afford visits, many time cutting corners on other leisurely activities to do so. I have always appreciated that, and try to be fair in my pricing. Just as most hobbyists try to be fair to me in treatment.

I will try to state in other terms the focus of the topic in an example.

Let's say a lady is UTR and limited availability at a low hourly fee of $100.
Let's also say, she locates some fine clientele, upgrades her business skills, learns the business boards, advertising, lingo, produces pics, creates a website, and changes her lifestyle to be more available, rather than UTR only. She now wishes her rate to be, let's say for the ease of this example, an hourly fee of $200.

Okay, so here is what I am wondering about: Why not simply accept the rate that is listed in a current review and not question it or link to other reviews with different rates?

Her current rate will more than likely be at her website.

IMHO, I believe those type of postings pave the road for unnecessary judgements.

I am not really sure if this post helped in clarifying my original thread ...
(I know that sometimes people don't quite understand me, but then again, I write this line with humor.... )

Once, I reviewed with old rate and paid that rate. Some one questioned that rate. I had to contact her to pay up.
There is also grandfather and frequent flier rates. We are not to post that rate. But post the current asking. But sometimes, opps

Then you have short and long rates. ie HH to overnight

Then there is barter errr exchange of services rendered. I cut her lawn so I only paid errrrr we are to post asking. But sometimes, opps and forgot

I would rather we did not post rate at all in review. But in a way we have to. As one guy may not think her ass is worth that much, another think its about right, as yet another thinks its a bargain.

Oh I forgot special rate. Or to say her time is on Sale at a reduced rate. We are to post that rate and why.

mmmmmmm back to barter. Some worry or think mods may get a different rate. It may or may not be true. And why could or not be a problem. As a high poster fucktard. I have been offered reduced to free for a review. Believe it or not. I have not as of yet done that mmmm errrr Believe it or not. And some reviews have made me wondered hummmmmm.

So in some, not many, but some reviews the rate has been questioned. I hate we have to post a rate. But we do. And sometimes it is good that someone asked " hay about that rate you paid"

And then some do not charge by time. errrrrr But one and done can be fun. But the sometimes up sell not.

edit: and lets not forget haggling. Yes I know a no no on the board. But even in upstate, there are times when its part of the game.

			RE OSD:
Ahhh it is brought up for the intent on verifying hh or grandfathered, etc...

 That would make sense.
That's what I am seeking! Intent of why those posts exist!!

 Thanks!

Why not simply accept the rate? Human nature. Additionally there are times guys have a typo and that gets corrected too beyond the natural cheapskate in nearly all of us.

Rate determination is probably one of the top few reasons guys even come to a board like this.

1. Is she legit?
2. What's her body type?
3. What's her menu?
4. What's her attitude?
5. What's her TCB like?
6. What's her rate?

Different guys or the same guy on different days will rank those questions in a different priority order. It seems like those six may be universal though from the guys perspective.

I think you would find that reviews are often questioned on the other five items as well, it isn't just the fee that's discussed and re-verified.

Why do guys like to fall asleep after sex?
Why don't guys hang on a woman's every word?
Why do guys leave the toilet seat up and not put the cap back on the toothpaste?

Human nature. Asking 'why' isn't going to change it IMO.

I'm not looking to change it; Rather understand it more.

Part of what I do is understanding the male mind, and adjusting myself, to cater more to what it desires. (At least in the hobby respect)

The male mind has two modes no matter what else may be on his mind at the same time. hungry and sex. Some providers only take care of the sex. Others take care of both.
