Sounds like she didn't optimized her weight loss properly. Excess skin happens a lot with people that had high body fat % that lose weight rapidly via GLP-1s. That's why usually the recommended way to lose weight is either to do it gradually (1-2 lb a week), or if you want rapid weight loss route you do a prolonged water fast with electrolytes (10-30 day fast depending on how fat you are and how much weight you need to lose) combined with moderate exercise every day to preserve as much muscle mass as possible, the fasting will incur autophagy and will prevent excess skin as your body will be too busy breaking down any excess biomatter not needed for survival.
