Kirk was well known in the very youngest generation. People over 35ish before this probably didn't know a lot about him. Maybe even as young as 25 or 30. His influencing has only gained popularity in the last few years and almost all was college age focused. So the further removed from college someone is the less likely they even knew much about him. Then cut that number in about half that would ignore him along party lines.

Kirk was a racist, which understandably makes him a hero to most of the righties on this site when white racism is lauded and praised. I’ve never killed anyone, nor have I said someone should be killed, so the guy that killed him wasn’t one of mine at all. Now that said, I care less that another racist was killed, for whatever reason as I noted, he’s in hell now with his people. He’s no longer here spreading his hate speech, which is a good thing. I have no complaints there.
