Where to get a drink and a good meal?
Whats an upscale restaurant (with a bar) to go to besides Eddie V's? Any recommendations?

I haven’t been to The Plaza in a while but years ago the Alemeda Plaza Hotel had a great restaurant and bar.

If you want to stay on the Plaza area I would suggest:
The Capital Grill (Sister Restaurant to Eddie V's)
McCormick & Schmick's
Rye
Gram & Dun
Stock Hill

Corvino, Extra Virgin, Black Garlic, Regazza, Rockhill Grille.
All have unique and fantastic food options with amazing cocktails.

Well gents. I think at the prices of the Supper club or the Majestic the lady will be looking for a gentleman to be her "escort". Any takers....

Big Deal is correct. And, I'm stunned he didn't recomend his place.
That said, back to Plaza, the east side of plaza is area with issues.
bcm1969 has some good mentions. Note that a couple gals have staked out spots at the bar at Capital Grill.
I'll add:
JJs, Kona Grill, Buca di Beppo.
Btw, for us, we'll be hanging near the Sprint Center starting soon and running till late spring 2026

Buca di Beppo is an interesting place. Its like a maze down there, but lots of interesting memorabilla, and great Italian food...

1000% tanners or Trader Joe’s.! They both are great! You can buy food to make your own meal and the neighborhood is great! Not a lot of Melanated people and the fresh items are scrumptious!
