You do realize that most people who do not care for Trump are not going to waste 2 hours of their evening listening to him patting himself on the back while making up exaggerated and unsubstantiated numbers and not rationally addressing any real economic concerns; don't you?

I highly doubt that many of the viewers of that dog and pony show were democrats or people like me who aren't dems, but folks who don't enjoy watching bad reality TV... curious to know out of those 36m+ viewers, how many were not MAGAs for any of that 75% to mean anything.

Regarding the President's first speech:

I think that there will be scores of isolation shots of Democrats doing silly or disruptive things during that speech that will be used in Republican campaign ads in 3021-22.

Each challenged Democrat incumbent will face some video of themselves holding up a paddle or singn, or engaaged in disruptive activity . . . . while the voice over ridicules them in com parison to their Republican challenger.

Even their silent non-action will be used against them. One of the most damming images in my view will be the vision of a female Senator, dressed in shocking pink who, just the day before, had voted against banning biological men from Women's sports.

Much like Bill Mahar, you don't have to like President Trump to think that the Democratic Party is doing things that are not likely to get them re-elected in the midterms.

^^^ ICU, I don't think there is much to argue that the Democrats looked like silly fools IMO. Pouting and looking stupid while doing so is not a very productive way to get your point across. I think taking the high road is a better solution but whatever. Hell, just don't show up for it if you are going to do that.
