Default Neil Peart Dead

A Canadian that mattered. Brain Cancer that he's had for years. I suspected when he left Rush that something was up. I hope he enjoyed his time as I have enjoyed his lyrics and music.

What turned me on to Rush decades ago:

Wrong. Plenty of love for one of Canada’s best rock bands. But how the fucks is this something for the political forum?

That’s what this is, eh?

And BTW — The Band was the greatest Canadian rock band, so far as I’m concerneds. Still, Rush has a big impact, especially among those who know what yous know about Canadian music.

Yes BTO and The Guess Who. I like most of the early Neil Young too. Triumph.

c'mon guys, no love for Loverboy??!

I saw the last Rush tour, brilliant musicians. and literally one hour ago, I was in a store, a guy asked me if I knew where a certain other store was, he wanted to sell a photo of himself with Neil Peart, believing he might score decent coin by selling at this moment.

I expected Yssup to at least cry out "Brian Adams."

It's amazing what people think that has personal value translates into real coin.

I remember the first time I saw Rush in 1980 at TCCC. The smoke was so heavy we got lost on the way back to the car.
