There are a few gentlemen who post their pictures on their P411 profile.

Since the only people who can see this are the providers to whom he's given his ID, is there any downside for him?

I think its a cool idea...

I have a guy on there with a picture...he looked just like Gary Busey..I thought that it was a joke...but it was him & HE DID LOOK LIKE GARY BUSEY...lol

Can those images be found with a simple internet search (tineye or the like)?

If so, there's a good reason.
If not, that still might be part of the paranoia.
Most of the images I have of myself are also on FB.

hmm, since we have never had a case of a provider going postal and cyber outing a hobbyist, what could be the downside?

I guess as long as you are independently wealthy, have no qualms about your family, friends, employer, neighbor, or Channel 11 news learning about your proclivities, then have at it.

+1 The challenge with information is ... once you give it out ... you lose control and that's not attractive to me. WPEJ brings up some concerns, we have all heard about hobby guys and providers letting others use their computers.

I know, appreciate, and respect P411 for their efforts in verifying people ... but it isn't impossible to crack. Maybe that's the paranoia talking, but I'm listening.

Having said that, I do send a face pic to providers when we are booking. I call it 'reducing the omg factor at the door'. After all ... I know what she looks like ... seems fair and gives her a chance to bail or rally herself as required. (btw ... most providers are lovely liars, "oh, your so handsome!" ... as though there are no mirrors in my world .. but bless them, anyway).

So .. why stop at pics ... ? Why not post additional real world info on a site? Not as though a spouse in a divorce action would ever find out.

Not opposed to a provider knowing what I look like during the booking process. But gee whiz, Ms. Honey Rose ... this is the Internet we're talking about.

The question asked in this thread is, could there be any down side to a guy posting his pic on his P411 profile? I think the question should be, especially with the risks involved, why should a guy post his pic on his profile? Why would a provider care in the least what her client looks like? That's why hobbyists pay providers -- because we're fat old nebbishes, and they wouldn't play with us unless we paid them! If a provider wants to base her decision on whether to see a hobbyist on his appearance, maybe she should put that in her ads -- for example, "All clients must strongly resemble Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, or Alex Rodriguez." Oh, and of course she should also put, "Services provided at no charge."
