Question Browsing History

Dont know if this is in the right spot, but it seems no matter how much I delete my browsing history, certain things still pop up.

For example, I delete EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING but later when I open the laptop and begin to type letters, my browser gives me old eccie coed section threads or backpage ads even though I have thourouly deleted every type of history possible.

Any suggestions about erase browsing history would be greatly appreciated!!!

Use InPrivate browsing from the tools on the toolbar. You dont have to worry about deleting any history because it will not save anything.

Go to ccleaner.com and download it from filehippo or whichever other option it gives you. Once you download it, run it and it will analyze everything and it will delete browsing history, cookies, temp folders and a few other things from all browsers used ie. internet explorer, mozilla firefox, etc... If you need help just pm me.

If you aren't using InPrivate browsing, which as Pieguy says doesn't remember anything, you can also set your browser to 0 days cache and to clear it on exit. Tools > Internet options > Browsing history (here) and > Settings (here too). As others. Have said, PM if you need help. Good luck

Most browsers can be set to automatically clear their cache and Temporary Internet Files areas when the browser is closed. Yes, CCleaner is a very good program for keeping your computer's hard drives clean.

The following are all good free tools for keeping the computer clean and free of malicious code as well as other nasty stuff.

CCleaner

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Revo Uninstaller

Avast! Antivirus

Zone Alarm Firewall

AVG provides a free antivirus and spyware download but if you want GOOD reliable protection it's better to pay. I have McAfee and have had no problems, good luck.

The Avast! software I referred to above is very good free anti-virus software.

Avast! Antivirus

I have used this software for years and it has stopped everything thrown at it. The updates to its virus database are free and automatic.

Are you asking about the history or the search/form history? Firefox is pretty good about clearing it all out as long as you set the option. Privacy mode works fantastically.
Bleach Bit is another good cleaner program for Internet Explorer or Firefox, clears out cache, form history and history.

Avast is awesome, I use it on my laptop and home pc as a anti virus program.
