CNN is really doubling down on the "Fake News".

I guess their "anonymous source who has a cousin who lives next door to the brother of a cab driver who heard from a rider that President Trump ordered the FBI Director to drop an investigation" was wrong.

Before it's over, the whole bunch will be on suicide watch.

Why would Trump suggest the FBI drop the investigation and then fire the FBI Director when he did not?

Next , Why would Trump ask the FBI Director to drop the investigation if he in fact planned on firing him?

Comey was fired because he did not drop the investigation.

Why wouldn't the president of the United States fire an FBI director who:

1) Selectively documents every conversation he has with the president(who he works for).
2) Avoids interacting with the president(who he works for).
3) Publicly shows utter disdain for the president(who he works for).
4) Has so corrupted the investigative process that there is mutiny in the ranks of all political persuasions.

Comey would have been a hero if he would have quit before Trump was inagurated. He is now officially a Jackass, with demonstrated incompetence as a person who has a clear agenda. That agenda was to fix what he perceived the result of the path he was forced to follow in dealing with the Clintons. The fact that he had to call off an investigation after the head of the DOJ had a 30 minute private conversation with the Hillary's husband clearly ate into is soul.

You do realize we are talking about the Flynn investigation don't you? There were no legal ramifications for Trump in regard to Flynn. They are not best friends or related. It would have been a much easier row to hoe for Trump to let the Flynn investigation go forward.

Firing him was the right thing to do. He fucked up to many times in the last year.

Trump was an idiot not to fire Comey on Jan 20th if he was going to fire him.

Not after Comey would not kowtow to Trump and then Trump brags about it to the Russians the next day!
