Have y'all ever come across providers that say they want to live webcam with you before meeting? It feels like a scam... am I right?

Indeed. Yes, crapola happens, but even if his phone drowned, why couldn't he have sent a timely explanatory PM from some computer somewhere? Beau deserves a cancellation fee.

Anyway... I have heard of providers wanting to webcam so they could make sure that the fellows they view beforehand are the same ones who will show up at their doors. However, that isn't a substitute for screening, as it does nothing to weed out LE, crazy trolls, or guys with NCNS history, and same for the flip side. Research and reputation are crucial for both Hobbyists and hussies, not reality TV.
