Ladies, none of you obviously want to be accused of being a clock-watcher. Yet, you do have to be aware of the time and how much of it has passed. You have a real life, other business dates, or you simply expect the gentleman to pay for extra time. Your time is precious. This might be a YMMV situation, depending on what is planned in your day and how much fun you are or are not having.

When do you, ladies, begin the clock running for your professional dates?

Tardiness on his part usually isn't an issue because I like to put more than ample time between one engagement and the next. More often than not, an hour means an hour-ish anyways so if a gentleman is a few mins early, or a few mins late, it rarely results in time being cut short. There are always exceptions of course, and if tardiness is more like half an hour late versus 'fashionably' late that may make a difference. Communication makes a huge difference though. If he calls me up and lets me know he's running late and gives me an estimated time of arrival, I can generally be pretty flexible.

+1 to Sins, I will also make exceptions when I feel that it is important to talk through a few things through (primarily applies to fetish sessions when we did not cover everything in advance).

That being said...one of those options is after a shower...IF that shower is less than 5 minutes that is fine. But if you are in there taking a bubble bath that is going to be part of your time.

This poll didn't get as many responses as the one for men because this one was created first. So, the other, not this one, was picked up on the Main Page and has national input. That is too bad. It is the ladies who are in charge of the clock, even if some guys will keep track of the time and make sure to leave when appropriate.

I have had a date where an hour was retracted to a half hour (where I was told that an hour really meant one shot or one hour, whichever came first) or where an where an hour was extended to 90 minutes (extra time being conversation and/or clean-up).

The most professional ladies are able to keep track of the time without the notorious clock-watching. They want to be known as being generous with their time without being taken advantage of. They seem not to consider a gentleman being a few minutes late or taking a very quick shower as part of the clock. A longer drawn-out shower or a significant tardiness, exacerbated by no advanced warning, is a different tale. That is very reasonable. When the time is reached, a gentleman could politely be asked if he prefers to pay for more time together. This should be expected. On some occasions, a lady might allow the time to extend to continue an enjoyable conversation or to distinguish herself from other ladies and encourage another date. This should not be expected.

On outcalls, I start the clock when she arrives. On incalls, I start the clock when I arrive (to date, I've never been late for an appointment, but have been delayed by the lady not being ready or not answering her phone at the given time). If I were ever to be late of my own accord or by circumstances for which the lady was not responsible, I'd be willing to pay extra or shorten my time if due to scheduling the full time was no longer available.

I mainly check the time to see what I'm getting. If the time were to go over (and it has on many occasions), it's alright with me and I have been known to tip. I appreciate it when someone doesn't have another appointment scheduled immediately afterward, but I understand those who do. On at least two instances, the lady asked to stay the night with me (which is cool, since I am single). However, I would not necessarily expect that to happen in the future (although that would be nice).
