Default Which area do you prefer to hobby in Kansas City

Hey everyone,

I am visiting Kansas City from April 25th to April 27th and I am looking for your opinions, as the hobbyist, which hotels and areas do you prefer to visit?

Finding out about hotels would be best served doing so in PM's. Also, make sure the person you're getting your info from is a trusted member of the board and not some guy/girl who might be trying to put you in a bad situation.

As for areas, as long as you stay out of Kansas...you'll be in a good area.

??????????????

Absolutely avoid ALL of Kansas, and stay away from 435 & Bannister/ 435 & 87th Street as well. Something is a central location, like downtown, is preferable, but since you're going to be here on a Monday through a Wednesday, something with a side/back entrance might be advisable as week-day, in/out traffic is more noticeable.

Khloe, if you screen well and pay heed to your intuition you will be fine. I have been working in KS mostly this past year and haven't had any problems. Hope you enjoy your stay.

WOW what a Sweetheart! The one right next to my house would be nice.

I hate to go downtown. The plaza is acceptable but up north near casinos or along 29 toward the airport also seems to be accessible. Hope to see you

The KC metro area is pretty spread out, although lots of highways it can take some time to get from one side to the other. In general, a more central area like Westport or Plaza area works well.
