On Thursday, Republicans held a two-and-a-half hour session on Obamacare that many lawmakers thought could produce those general agreements on a replacement. Instead, in the words of one member, “it was a farce.” Two other members characterized it as “pathetic.”




A secret recording obtained by The Washington Post reveals the extent of lawmakers’ confusion and their wariness of barreling toward a repeal without a clear replacement plan. The general uneasiness is captured in one exchange when a lawmaker asked panelists a “simple question”: Will states be able to maintain the expanded Medicaid rolls provided for under the Affordable Care Act?



“These are decisions we have to make,” replied another, according to The Washington Post.

here is what I don't understand. For dam near 8 yrs all we've heard was repeal and replace. For dam near 8 fucking years. Now that reality is upon us you mean these lame fuck faces wasn't working on a plan. You mean these assholes really didn't have anything in place to replace Obamacare with? All this shows is that they were flat out lying to their constituents. They were never going to replace it. Hundreds of resolutions in the House and Senate to replace and yet these fuckers had no replacement plan in place and guess what they still don't. They're now saying they will come up with something that may take 2 yrs to implement if that.

All this shows is that Republican voters are total dupes. poor fucking people don't have a clue they're getting fucked.

Obamacare was just a plan to move people onto some government sponsored system. It sucked, but it is complicated and takes time to replace. You people can replace it in two years if you win the midterms - assuming Trump doesn't suspend elections and become a dictator like you people are afraid he will do.
