obviously, alot of people in Palestine westbank consider the PA to be so corrupt. they're looking for ways to get around them.
any how, there some interesting ideas about a possible solution and alternative to the obsolete 2 state solution which is no longer viable due to the decisions made by Arafat and Abbas on independent Palestinian state.
the 8 state solution seems like idea that should be given a look.
there are cultural aspects of palestine that makes it a poor fit 2 state solution. one of which is that much of the arab world is very tribal; nepotism is also very ramapant. it all boils down to who you know and whom you will support. its why so many are failed states (with the possible exception of Jordan). this the legacy of british colonialism.
8 states compromises 7 westbank city states and Gaza strip; each representing tribes or families of influence in those areas.
