I'm really interested in the prevalence of pics and video in the reviews ROS. Why?

I really do get why guys like pics and vids. I really like them. Porn wouldn't exist if we didn't really enjoy the visuals.

What I'm interested in, is why the guys are spending good money to play with mostly sexy and proficient professional sex workers, only to spend a large portion of the time distracted and not really be involved in the experience?

Is the thrill of filming more exciting than the thrill of fucking?

Are the guys doing the pics and vids being WKs for the mongers and providing a service?

Is it a fetish? Is it for the Atta Boys? Are the guys pimping?

It's been on my mind for quite a while since I joined Eccie.

I'm not bringing this up in judgement at all. I'm just trying to understand.

For the first time, I agree with Tony on the bolded part of his quote. There are a few guys who are exactly like that, wanna be pimps preying on ww girls, most guys know who they are (hint: most all his reviews are of ww girls) but unfortunately, the ww girls do not, which is why it should be a mandated read by the girls sticky in the ww forum. However, since Tony has no PA, he cannot view the pics so he has no idea what the provider looks like in the pics and if the pics are good and of good quality.

To answer the OP's questions, IMO, doing pics are fun and mine are done usually before the actual BCD session starts and it takes the edge off of meeting for the first time in person along with getting that awkward small talk out of the way. The providers I do pics of are mainly of verified providers who have several if not pages of prior reviews.

I do pics and have done a some rare vids because of a few factors:

1. I like taking them

2. Pics add more reality to the review than just words

3. In some cases, the pics on ads and showcases may be old or not reflective of what a hobbyist will see answering the door

4. Savior the memories, especially of a provider who quit providing

It has become a trend.. and like most trends in the hobby or in reality land, you have people that love it and people that hate it.

If I were closer to the beginning of my hooktard career than the end... I'd probably be more amenable to it. But I'm relatively close to being out the door, so I'm not keen on the notion of images that I don't have 100% control over.

Taking a decent enough picture mid fucking only takes some seconds. So it's not really all that time consuming. It's come up for me a couple times. If one asks and respects a provider's consent about whether or not the images can be captured or shared, I see no problem. And yes, taking coital photos is probably an ego-motivated act, but isn't that partially the case for hiring a sex worker in the first place.

Well as a guy who enjoys taking pics and videos I can say that some of what has been said thus "could" be true but I can only speak on my experiences.

I don't "get off" on the reviews or pics nor the responses from them. In all honesty I don't do it for me I do it for the community. Guys get a good look at what the lady actually looks like versus just a written description from text. Lets face it alot of these profile pics the ladies post, aren't the most current.

For the ladies its actually a decent way of marketing if done correctly. More established ladies probably have a decent amount of reviews but for a new memeber on eccie it just boost her visibility. Don't believe me? look at the view count of a review with pics/video and compare them to the reviews that don't have them.

Now I know some members on this board are safety cautious or shy or whatever. I've been asked this in the past "aren't you afraid someone will recognize you" Well no...My face is never in my videos and if someone is watching any of my work, they are probably doing the same shit as me. Ladies always say "don't take pics of my face etc, but then have the nerve to post an ad on a eccie /bp/ p411 / Ter with their face, services, and rates? Everyone that on those sites knows you are selling pussy for cash not getting time for money. Stop overthinking it.

I agree with the whole WW warriors comment that someone stated. People like to be the first in and sometimes take a risk of TOFTT. I don't knock them for that, I knock them for their tactics sometimes but at least they are seeing newbies and writing the reviews on them; which is what this whole ECCIE thing is about right? Not everyone wants to be a "pimp" some of us just like to fuck!

Like it or hate it, pics and vids in reviews aren't going anywhere. You always have the option to not allow them or to not view them in the reviews. For the guys--and be honest; how many times have you seen a review with pics/vids that actually swayed your decesion to see a lady because your initial thought on her was "ill pass?"

Guys love to see pics and videos, even the guys here complaining about it, I doubt they're skipping on all the ROS pics and videos posted on the reviews

I'm pretty sure a potential client would rather see a provider he's interested in visiting in real current pics and a visual of her skills instead of relying on a exaggerated review

I try to take pics and videos of my adventures and post them up with my reviews, I always hear that it gives the ladies a spike in business so that should tell you something about the visuals.

The reason? Simple economics. Page views.

Chicks that allow it, and certain members that write good reviews that go along with them, get 10 times the page views of any other review.

Page views equal more attention, which means more $$$.
