maybe she doesn't remember which client(s) she saw and which one she ncns'd.

i will say this in her defense, any dealing with tx dmv can easily put your brain in a death spiralling time warp twilight zone state

it may even be that, the universe being what it is, her thought process was jacked up even before her actual time at dmv, due to her future time at the dmv.
