You have claimed that $40 billion of the $60 billion total was "pork". Please prove this assertion. You can't. I read your linked article but that didn't prove it.

Was there some pork in the Hurricane Sandy bill? Yes, perhaps millions, but certainly not $40 billion.

I do recall residents complaining about the slow response, even after Christie and Obaminable conducted their joint photo-op while "surveying" the area.

It is my recollection that the New Jersey coastal areas got funding much faster than Galveston.
