My final word on AMP Reviews

I recently wrote a review after visiting a Rochester area AMP. Several ECCIE members cautioned against writing reviews that covered anything more than your basic HE because it was likely to result in trouble for the provider, up to termination and even closing the business.

I returned to see this provider last week and was able to ask her about reviews. This is what she told me;

1) She had read the review and was able to cite specifics about the content

2) She made it clear that she does not want reviews written about her.

3) She said her boss is very much opposed to reviews and fired a girl last year due to reviews

4) She picked up a significant amount of new business from "strangers" (no surprise, it was a pretty positive review) which she does not want. She is happy with the business she has. Wants to remain UTR.

5) Will only see regulars going forward.

Even though I admitted to writing the review I still got a hug when I left and an assurance that she will see me in the future. Lesson learned, no reviews without asking first. Mea culpa!

She give hug for big tip. Anyway, i tried my first amp, it was funny, maybe i will write about it.

Sounds like she and the amp weathered the storm.

Asians at our few Buff AMPs all say the same....they want NO reviews and are dismayed when reviews are posted!
Buff is not an AMP friendly town and the girls know it.

Read the review. It was not a big tip at all.....just that standard rate that's existed for years, for the optional services rendered.

So reviews are the culprit LOL. Yep, the cops have no idea what's going on in those places even though AMPS have a long history of doing what they do. Maybe they shouldn't advertise their hours of operation and exact address.

Never said reviews were the main culprit but Leo sure appreciates the leads reviews provide him while wondering who to investigate while munching on donuts and sipping coffee. Leo thanks them fer their support and ought to deputize em.....

We can (and already did) debate endlessly about whether or not a review actually poses a risk to the provider. I happen to agree with those that say LEO already knows what is going on. However, if the provider doesn't want a review, then I am not going to write one in the future. Whether I think their concern is baseless or not.

Yep, weathered the storm. I happen to like my AMPS. I find them to be much more convenient and predictable. And above all else, less risky for me. Good luck!

So if we stopped doing AMP reviews they would never get busted. Ya right. Maybe it has something to do with their business practices. No screening and basically taking anyone off the streets, no questions asked. That might have something to do with it Einstein. If reviews are such a hazard to AMPS maybe we should stop reviewing escorts as well according to your line of thinking.

Of course AMPs would still get busted as would SPs, just that Leo would have to get up and away from the donut counter and do all the legwerk himself instead of having all his deputies here, do it fer him by posting reviews telling Leo where all the action is happening.....

This ain't rocket science! Most Asians get it and TELL YOU they want NO reviews!
This only seems to befuddle the mentally challenged amongst us ....

True but but but this can be a sure way to make a fav get fired or go away, as the OP stated.

Happened to Emily who opened and ran Natural Care in Lancaster. She was a little doll but hated all the reviews. She read English. For awhile she would fire girls she caught doing more than a massage! NC was around 5 years but Emily left the last year because of all the reviews she and they got. Then she opened a new AMP and was sweet as ever but after a few months they closed because of all the reviews they got. If you were lucky enough to get a HE there, girls would say they want no trouble and NO reviews being posted..... ijs

They already know where the action is compliments of all those BP ads. How much leg work does that take. They hardly need any help.
