Question about cancelled appointment. What would you have done?

So, I was looking for a play date for this afternoon. I contacted a lady that I have seen once before, about 7 months ago. I texted her, she then requested a PM from here on eccie which was no problem. After cross referencing, she approved me and we set a time. Everything was all good until her last text to me.

In that last text she told me it would be xxx/HH and gave me the address. This spooked me. I pondered this then decided to cancel the appointment soley based on that last text.

She didnt mention "money" but said xxx/hh.

My issue is this. I know the rates. I read the showcase and tons of reviews. It threw me off that she mentioned a rate without me asking. As far as the address, I asked for it because i couldn't remember the exact directions to her place.

Either way, I cancelled the appt. I explained to her exactly why I cancelled. Didn't give her any bullshit excuses. She said that the she didn't mention "money" or money for service, which tempted me to go through with the appt but I stuck to my decision. I guess I'm just paranoid. One thing to be noted here is that I'm NOT a newbie. I've been in the hobby a long time...and I'm not trying to walk into a trap.

So...I don't regret my decision, but am curious to know what you other dudes would have done....

Call me paranoid, but I call that thinking with the big head and not taking that risk.

So you did see her seven moth ago? You forgot some of the information. Maybe she thought you fprgot the rest or had seen her during a special and she just wanted you to know it was regular now. If you had seen her before and there arent any bad post out there on her i do not see the problm.

Yeah, I saw her once before. I think it was 7 months or so ago. She has a good rep and I had a good time with her. I've never read anything bad about her but that doesn't mean bad stuff couldn't happen.

If it makes any difference, we were texting and I don't know if it is the same number she had when I saw her last. I delete my numbers.

I'm not going to mention her name because it isn't my intention to bash her. She's a cool chick. I'm just wondering what others would have done.

Got to go with your gut, though I would have gone, and not discussed acts or money until she was naked.

I say leave the hobby behind, you had a good run. Your time has come to retire, realize you are no longer starting line up material. You can still coach the newbies from the sidelines and make the occasional appearance as a pinch hitter. Buy a nice rocking chair and a snuggles blanket along with a whittling knife and stick. Baby blue slacks that fit below the chest, white paten leather shoes and matching belt are optional. Good luck in your retirement.

I never met this man. But just from a providers point of view if we don't inform y'all the rate. When you get to the in call and dont have the right donation and you short us. The men get mad when we don't inform y'all.

Money for time is not an issue. If she had listed any activities in addition to the money for time then I would have turned her down.

That said, it's not paranoia when everyone really is out to get you.

I actually like it when they do that. It's better than driving myself nuts worrying if I got the correct amount to whip out.
