True comedy
So, I think I am funny (I crack myself up) but apparently no one else does. I really do want to improve my comedic factor and I feel as though I have a long way to go. The problem is that, other than (dropping my drawers and exposing myself) I have no clue on how to generate laughter in others. I am not necessarily looking for any tips on "how" to be funny, just what your definition of comedy is. So, there you have it. Thoughts?
Also, who do you think is the funniest person on ECCIE? (Ahem.......me) it can be a provider or hobbiest (me).

Ze and daaaaman have my votes, but there are others from time to time have made me rofl. As long as you don't take yourself too seriously and have good command of the English language (not necessarily grammatically correct, but able to paint a picture with words), I think you have a good chance of being funny.

Life is comedy for the most part, so I find comedians that talk about real life issues get the most laughs out of me.

Timing is very important to comedy, as is delivery. Spontaneous subtle references to pop culture in a double entendre seems to work well, but it is a risk if you don't know your audience's tendencies very well. Or the tried and true honest story. If you tell a story, any story, especially completely factual and true, with emphasis on the most obvious and ridiculous details... you have a magnificent comedic weapon.
For instance, I was driving to work when a random naked woman crawled out from behind the back of the driver's seat of my car and she had a little poodle under one arm and under the other the biggest damn salami you have seen in your life...
