Has anyone (John or Provider) tried out TrustedFling.com yet? How is it?

I tried it. Interesting rating system.

Seems like it could be prone to fraud though. Are there moderators?

Yes there is a moderator at Trustedfling - that would be me. If I see a fraudulent account on the site, I can remove it. So far there has been very little fraud, I'm happy to say.

But the site has been designed with a self-moderating trust level system, which will become more effective as the site grows. As you exchange positive safety ratings with clients or providers, your trust level goes up and the impact of your ratings increases as well. This will allow fraudulent accounts to be quickly marked unsafe by trusted members of the community.

It is, however according to our Forum Guidelines you cannot advertise competing sites outside of the Other Hobby Sites thread in the Member Suggestions and Forum Requests forum.

Thus, I must close this thread.

You could buy advertising on the site (such as a banner ad) however...
