is this just click on links?
what gets me about "endangered animals" is why not allow them to be killed?
if that's not what this topic is about, opps, its not like I click on random links with no idea wtf I'm clicking on

commercially raised and killed for horns, fur, etc
its not like "endangered list" helps all animals

Great. More links ans no explanation.

Just what do you want us to do, numb nuts?

First, it wasn't our fault. It was/is Japan's fault

Second, it is too late to do anything about it. The strontium is already in the ocean.

So, we're screwed if the story is true. Which i doubt.

Not long ago there were news reports of the air monitoring devices along the West Coast picking up excessive radiation. It was also my understanding the water was being tested along the coast line, which revealed increased radiation.

The tsunami did reach the West Coast ... I am familiar with a small town on the Oregon coast that was hit hard ... wiping out businesses in the Bay (Crescent) and at the "marina" ... lots of commercial fishing boats hit. I was there before the damage and saw the comparison afterwards.

We try to buy Atlantic fish if "wild caught" and try to avoid "farm raised" simply because of the issues with "farm" fish ... regardless of their claims.

Good point. If radiation was even slightly a problem with Pacific caught fish you'd see FDA and EPA warnings all over the news every night.

You don't think that if there were highly elevated levels of radiation in fish there wouldn't be newcasts warning "women who are pregnant or who may think may become pregnant" from eating fish or feeding their kids fish? Like the mercury scare a few years ago? Damn right there would be. You couldn't watch Lifetime or MSNBC 10 minutes without seeing a warning. Charlie the Tuna lobby isn't that strong.

If nothing is said much about the increased levels of air borne radiation on the West Coast or the island of plastic swirling around, I can imagine something as "inconsequential" as a "little bit' of annoying radiation infecting our fish wouldn't make a ripple or disturb anyone at the T box.

After all, if one acknowledges a problem exists, one must address the problem.

Yes. And my point is this Administration would rather meddle in local matters:
