Montrose and surrounding area dining
Seeking a few new spots to try in the montrose/heights or down town area. What are your favorite restaurants?
I need to get out and try some new grub.
Thanks in advance ♥♥♥

If you like Greek (no pun) then there's Theo's & Niko Niko's. I liked Niko Niko's better before the expansion.
Jenni's Noodle House or Nidda Thai Cuisine for Asian (Thai) food.

To bad Feast closed down. Place was awesome.
Mark's, Hugo's, Underbelly. Little more low key, Hay Merchant. Grab a pig ear and beer.

Common Bond while it is basically a bakery does have a breakfast and lunch menu. The desserts are to die for as they have some of the best pastrie chefs in the US there. Well worth the quick stop in

El Real on Westheimer is in my rotation. Good Texmex. You can't miss it, the building was previously a movie theater and they kept the marquee.
Paulie's, also on Westheimer has yet to disappoint me.
One of my new favorites is Coltivare, on White Oak. They grow a lot of their own produce. I think my favorite thing to eat there is the Tomato Basil Pizza, if you're a pizza snob you should love it. They use a traditional oven so the crust is the best I think I've ever had.
