A female friend of mine is on c4p and she goes to alot of their meet and greets and they all (most) are held in bars. She said no problems ever usually some people gettin it on in the bathrooms or out in the parking lot. Elena, was there not some erotic activities going on at the Texas one or had there been some at others that caused the bust?

There were no activities going on at the M&G's in Texas. They know better, they're seasoned hobbyists and providers.

I guess that any registered member is allowed to vote. Once you vote, it will tell you that you have already voted. In setting up the poll, there was no option to limit votes. The one thing that I did do was to click on the button which keeps votes from being listed publicly.

My suggestion is to be sure no illegal activities take place. There is no law against a bunch of people getting together for drinks. When the TX M&G was busted it was because LE had infiltrated the group and made some illegal agreements with people. I have been to some great M&Gs both in public and private venues.

I thought in the news article it mentioned that people were making "arrangements" at the M & G and that is what led to the bust.
Why don't we just organize a book club instead? LOL. :P

During the week of the poll, 57 voters made 68 selections (it was possible to make 2 selections but only to vote once). So 11 voters made two selections. The only two selections that make sense to be selected together are choice 2 and 3. Based upon that assumption, 20 out of 57 voters are not interested in a M&G while roughly 36 are. Of those 36 interested in a M&G, 12 preferred only a public M&G, 13 preferred only a private M&G, and 11 preferred either a public or private M&G.

Conclusions: there is some interest in a M&G. It does not follow from this that there would be good attendance at a M&G if one were to occur.

Personally, I wonder - based about the posts in this thread and a related thread - whether more people would actually vote to ignore a M&G now. Although there is some good interest in a M&G, I don't foresee one any time soon in KC. There are many difficult logistics to consider and scheduling is always a problem. So while it is easy to say, "Hmm, that is interesting," or, "I would like to see a M&G happen," the details will be shown to be holding the devil. Screening is a significant concern to everyone. Location, location, location. What sort of negative reprisals might result from a M&G, even though nothing illegal would occur? Few people carry the clout and could also pull off such an organized gathering. And do these few people even have interest? In the end, the question which circulates remains: is it really worth the risk? Talk about a M&G. Imagine one. But this dream looks, IMO, to remain a dream.
