Everyone has a choice in how they want to participate on the board.
Many here choose to be quiet on the board. They pull the information, that other contributors make available, for their own use.
I, personally, have no issue with that.
Others (like me) are quite vocal here. Some may take an issue with that.
However, each of us are judged, rightly so or not, on the content, quality, character and tone of our posts.
When someone with an established reputation posts something that some may wonder what was the intended message, they need only look at the other postings and the reputation to put things into perspective.
When someone with little or no reputation posts, what they say falls under extra critical eyes.
From what I have read of yours, you and I come from different perspectives on the board. I can respect that. I can also respectfully disagree with you, or any one else, for that matter. I believe we can disagree without being disrespectful.
Your posts, while "truthful" or "honest", up until today, all had something negative to say about a lady. This means that your board reputation is, frankly, negative.
If Swordmaster or Buckskin or CoachPaul or many others, said something negative, their negative statement will carry much more weight than perhaps yours, as their posts are much more positive than negative, and all the much as truthful and honest as yours.
So the choice is yours. Lurker or Contributor. If you choose lurk, then you may want to limit your infrequent posts to something more positive or at least neutral.
If you choose to be a contributor, jump in and begin to build your reputation anew. As you build it, your voice will be "heard" in the way you want.
BTW, Tammie is a great lady to see, is newbie friendly and AA friendly. She is a lot of fun and in Killeen for now!
