Default intel on hotels to stay away from
A quick question for Houston....

Is there anywhere on here that I can find out which hotels are a NO. As in LE
I know the alert section.. but is there anything else I am missing?
LaQuinta is one of the big NO's for me... and I know there are more.
Any advice, or comments, suggestions would be appreciated

Don't know about LE concerns, but hotel Derek has key carded elevators and is rumored to be nosey. Recommend you avoid that one.

Derek, ALoft, Galleria Crown Plaza on Westheimer have all gotten nosey and are more watchful of visitors. Best bet is look professional when you check in, don't get one with key cards for the elevator, and valet parking is another thing to avoid. Hope it helps.

I would avoid all mid priced family type hotel chains, they tend to get suspicious and watch closely for trouble.
