Default United They Stand

So how much difference is there among the candidates? The only difference is how fast we will be turned over to our owners. But the owners remain the same.

And I'm crazy for supporting Gary Johnson and/or Ron Paul. Yeah, right.

The TEA party is more interested in local and state races this time. If we can get 20-30 more TEA party candidates in the House and a few in the Senate maybe we will have some influence on the leadership like replacing Boehner with Ryan, drop kick Reid to the curb, and take over a few more state houses.

Ekum, when you say "the past" are you referring to when we were a free country?

The problem with the detractors of the TEA party is that they have no clue what they are really about.
I am sure they have never been to a TEA party rally to listen to what they have to say and all they know is what OBama's media wants them to think they know.

While most TEA party associates are on the conservative side of the fence there are a great number of those that are of the libertarian mindset and there are democrats that are tired of the democrat agenda that does not represent their true values and core beliefs.

It is acknowledged that a third party is a difficult endeavor but working from the bottom at the precinct level and up to elect the people that represent your values is the way to change the direction of either party.

Agreed. We will never get a tea party type president unless we build a solid tea party group in Congress. That is where the focus needs to be now. Romney is not perfect but he will work with the tea party unlike the current idiot in chief.

I love PBS, probably watch it about 20% of my viewing time. Some of the best cinema you can see. Of course I have to turn the liberal filter on most of the time but they have actually had some interesting shoes on climate change and how what we are going through now is no different than all the many other times it has happened. The interesting fact is that during the warming periods the more you get to the peak of it the faster it happens. This has been going on since before man used fire.
Of course there are some programs that are so intellectually biased that they are BORING but I suppose they need some sort of filler. Probably not the best source for a well rounded view of what is going on in the world. Some of the Frontline programs I have seen have done a fairly objective job at presenting the information.
I really like NOVA, they have some pretty good shit. you cant beat Austin City Limits and when they are doing their usual begging for support they put on some awesome concert tapes.

I bought one of the programs about the old WWII planes because a very good friend of mine was in it. I have noticed that they are preparing to get off the government tit and have begun to have advertising in between programs. Good for them. It is about time they were on their own.
