This statement got me to thinking: what are your religious beliefs, if any? Are there some times when you cling harder to "faith" (whatever that is?) than other times?

There are a few subjects that I won't talk about on ECCIE and religion is one of them.

So, are you being serious, or is this another example of your dry wit?

Yeah, I think religion was banned on the motherboard...and for a reason (I don't remember all that clearly about it), although I don't know what that reason was.

If I remember correctly, politics had a forum all its own. I never went there. Here, on ECCIE, it seems to twist in and out of all kinds of forums and threads, almost like a weave.

BTW, I purposely stayed away from asking a question that could initiate proselytizing. Just a poll trying to find out where people see themselves on the spectrum.

This time I'm serious. I'm sure it will turn out to be an interesting thread though. Again being serious.

Personally that is none of your business and concern or anyone else's. I respect others of the same choice that it is none of my business as well.

Find another topic since you just have to post something to keep yourself entertained.

Not only is your poll wording "Super" offensive to people that are religious you should know a good number of your beloved liberals and democrats are actually "Super" believers........

BTW, this is the text of the Apostles Creed. You don't see any preface of nominal, moderate or "Super"

Quote:
1. I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.2. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.3. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.4. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.5. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again.6. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.7. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.8. I believe in the Holy Spirit,9. the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints,10. the forgiveness of sins,11. the resurrection of the body,12. and life everlasting.Amen.
Seriously Chuck, if it isn't Christ, may you find something on this earth that breaks you out of this depressed state you are in and finds you happiness.

Yep. The style of the questions tells more about the poser of the questions than the answerer.

Agreed, but seriously if you need to talk, one on one is the way to go and not to anonymous persona's on a board.

The Houston Mods banned it because they were all whore mongering religious nuts who hated to have that pointed out! Not that I would ever do such a thing.

Yeah, no sh*t. It says more about them than the question says about Charles, that's for damn sure.

Although talk about religion is not specifically prohibited on Eccie.Net, mods are given certain latitude and in this case, my judgement is that the poll itself is not even handed and I sense some tenseness already arising in the posts - This Thread Is Closed.
