Free Sex-care: Would you subscribe, or go your own way?
I overheard a little banter yesterday between two people concerning socialized medicine in America. I thought both had some really good points. However, that particular conversation made my brain tick a little.
I decided to apply some of their points to the Hobby.
What would happen if sex became a “right” and not a privilege? Let’s say, for example, that the government provided specific ladies that you could go to, for FREE, x times a month. Would you go and see them? Or would you continue to hire “privatized” escorts. Here are the stipulations of seeing the government issued ladies:
1. The lady is chosen for you at random, you have no say in who you get to see
2. ALL services require protection (CBJ, dental dam for cunnilingus, condom for anal, etc.)
3. French kissing is NOT allowed, as it exchanges bodily fluids
4. Conversation and socialization is kept at a bare minimum. You are solely there for sex.
**(This in no way reflects my views on healthcare. Like I said before, I was sitting at Starbucks overhearing a particularly animated conversation about healthcare, and I made a giant leap to the hobby as a comparison.)
WOULD YOU USE THIS SERVICE, OR NOT?

I would run as far and as fast the other way as I could. Government involvement in anything is sure to screw it up, as it has everything it gets its fingers in.

It depends. Are there pictures of one's possible date? I'm not seeing anyone sight unseen. Now if given picture of the potential providers, and I find over 80% of them attractive to me, then yeah, I'll try it at least once.

Yuck.
Some things aren't worth doing, even for free.
I bet that "free" sex would be just as accountable and effective as our "free" public schools; as efficient as the post office and as honest as Congress.
What will REALLY suck is even though I won't use it, I'll end up paying for it.

You get what you pay for, besides why would I want to pay for some guy from Ohio's sex. And what about the girls, do they get some too?

How much cheaper is it than the competing private system? I'm sure it would appeal to many millions who would like to hobby, but can't afford to and go completely without.
I think that sometimes many who hobby forget how blessed we are to have homes, jobs, cars, discretionary disposable income, etc. Many of our fellow citizens have none of those things. They can afford neither the hobby nor basic medical care.

I disagree with the idea that someone else's desire -- not even need, but mere desire -- should constitute a first mortgage on the product of my ingenuity and labor.
Perhaps I cannot afford a 10-acre beach house in Malibu. Does that obligate you to buy one for me? Even though I FEEL that I NEED it?
But here is what I absolutely agree with: Folks who believe that hobbying for the ... less blessed (as though what success I have had is mere luck!? "blessing" ain't got much to do with it) ... can feel free to donate their own ... excess production ... to those who desire to hobby but cannot afford it.
In other words, those who desire to give one person's wealth away to another person are free to do so; so long as the wealth they give away is their own.
It's amazing how few socialists there are under such an equation. Their ideas only seem attractive when they get to include ME in them against my will. LOL That's why there are so many rich socialists like a certain Senator who figure out ways of evading their own "tax the rich" tax laws, but take great joy in making sure I pay my so-called "fair share."
What I want to know is how people who favor socialist ideas can -- with a clear conscience -- spend gobs of discretionary income on getting their rocks off while there are people starving all over the world. You can feed a starving kid in Ethiopia for a year for the price of one hour with a provider.

So... I am going to be brutally honest here. No one took the bait. I was hoping to see if anyone commented on the whole "no fraternizing" "in, out, wham-bam, thank you ma'am". Is sex still sex if you take out all the mental stuff?
Sorry. Looks like my own thread bit me in the ass...

Don't hold it against me, but I routinely offer escorts that I see the option of "no sex" for the same price. Why? Because I enjoy them as much for their other qualities as for the sex. (First date is almost always a sex date though.)
So far, anytime I have made the offer, they have chosen to somehow integrate sex into things -- but I suspect that is because it is very difficult to DFK me in public enough to make me shut up. (*grin*)
As I'd never use socialized sex; the fact that it provided for no fraternization was extraneous data.
;-)

Robert Heinlein said it best.
"THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE FUCK"
He did say that, didn't he?
Free pussy is the most expensive kind. I have supported a piece of tail that I haven't used in 30 years. I'm still paying for that free tail.
