How to be the man of the house

A husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, 'You Can Be THE Man of Your House'. Finding new courage that he never knew he had, he stormed into the kitchen and announced to his wife, "From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house, and my word is the 'Law.' You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, bring it to me, and when I am done eating my meal, you will clear the dishes and serve me a scrumptious dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me, and we will make love the way I want!


Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will put on soothing music, wash my back, towel me dry, and bring me my robe. You will massage my feet and hands to relieve any last bit of tension in me, so that I can sleep like a baby... Then, tomorrow, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?


The wife replied, "The funeral director would be my first guess, unless I have you cremated..."

I have a true story along those lines... our dishwasher has been broke for a bit now so I woke up one morning the day after my SO was bitching about it and I took her a mirror and held it in front of her face and asked: "What do you see here?" she was puzzled and I said "Your new dishwasher"... She takes my hand and cups it and asks "what do you see here?" well I didnt really get it... so she said that's your new pussy enjoy it! ..... point well taken....

I know many will think this out of character for me to say this but while I get a chuckle out of jokes like these it never ceases to amaze me many think like this on both sides of the gender aisle. Quite frankly any sort of marriage/relationship is a partnership and as for me I expect both to contribute according to their strengths. I admit there are just some things I can't do or do well and I would expect my partner to pick up that slack. (Yes I can put a button on my clothes but anything more than that I'm lost!) Not to say all women can sew but it is more likely she will have more knowledge than me on any give day. But I digress....

I guess the major reason for me saying this is I am single and I date but I am getting rather annoyed with those who would see me as nothing more than a meal ticket to exploit. That lasts all of 2 seconds with me! I expect an equal division of labor and responsibilities as I would have no problems doing the same.

I'm sure someone will now blast me here for this so go ahead I can take it!
