Why's it OK to use the military to overthrow Maduro but not Saddam Hussein? To pay for genocide in Gaza but not defense in Europe?

He’s trying to get the EU and some Asian countries to shoulder more of their own defense, presumably so the USA doesn’t have to pay for it. But then he looks seriously at military action inside Venezuela, and provides massive financial support to Israel’s military.

I'd honestly like to understand how Trump decides where the USA should go nation building. Why Venezuela but not Iraq? Maybe someone can enlighten us.
