VIP Massage is Being Raided!

Just a heads up about a massage place getting raided. I’m eating at Casa Maria on S. 1st & St. Elmo and noticed there’s a VIP Massage in the same strip center. There’s some LEO’s there and hauling a couple of ladies out of there. Not sure if this is a popular place among you AMP mongers but thought I’d pass the word along.

All I can say is that I was having lunch with a buddy of mine, and as we walked to my car we could see a Travis Co Sheriff vehicle backed up to that side of the building under the big VIP Massage sign, and a couple of uniform guys had two women in custody putting them into another vehicle, a black SUV. Maybe “raid” is the wrong word, and granted I was a good 30 yards away. But that’s what I saw.

A hobbyist who just happened to be at Casa Maria, but doesn't ever visit VIP. Right. Then reports something that isn't reported by the news and is refuted because the shop is still open. Sounds like a hit job. If the place is still open and the same girls working, your reputation takes a big hit.

There is the possibility that the LEOs just arrested the individual and did not close the shop due to a lack of evidence for trafficking. Thus both sides are correct, shop is still open and someone was taken out in handcuffs.

Considering your first month of activity and FIRST review just happens to coincide with jazzbill’s LAST review, SAME SPA & GIRL. Then y’all 2 like to post back and forth on those reviews. So this comment appears to be nothing more than a “friend” conveniently defending a cohort.

From personal knowledge: This scenario is also wrong. Police did not enter or “raid” VIP. No one was arrested from VIP. The area is known for homeless people. So IMO only 2 scenarios exist for this to post to have occurred.

1) Someone was arrested outside the establishment, Independent of VIP. jazz in trying to be “cool” thought to post first.

OR

2) HITJOB (Jazz just so “happens to be at the right place at the right time..”)

No matter the above. In this current climate these kind of posts do no good unless you are 1000% sure an event occurred.

Re. false reports, I know for an absolute fact that competing ladies read ECCIE and in at least one instance planted a false report regarding an STD report on a competing lady. That was months ago and I was told this in person. Obviously I don't see her any more but it was an eye opener.

I think extra caution should be given right now and in the coming months as politicians gear up for elections there will be more attention on these types of places. There has been 2 in Wilco go down in a few weeks.i appreciate the heads up on anything that might be unusual.

A search of the APD Incident Reports Database on austintexas.gov comes up with nothing. If anything had happened, a report would have been filed To post something like this without being certain is irresponsible at best.
