Sorry for the loss. I don't understand why in the first quarter they didn't kick a field goal instead of going on 4th down. Those 3 points that were left on the field would have helped them at the end and possibly could have forced OT.
No disrespect, but I am not a fan of your coach and the QB, mini Patrick Mahomes, really?!
I will be rooting for Nebraska when the play Michigan St in two weeks. All and all it was a good game and could have gone either way.

Agree 100% Rule screwed up not taking the FG and Raiola's continued trying to impersonate Mahomes got old very quickly!! Hope the Huskers can defeat Iowa this year.

Because the metrics say early in the game in side the 10 yard line you should go for it on 4th and 2 or less. If you don’t make it you have the other team pinned deep in their own territory. Stop them and you should get good field position (they were a missed tackle away from a safety). I say take any points you can get ony your opening drive.
It is irritating that Raiola I’m itates Mahommes so much. He does have his routines and gestures down. I seriously think he doesn’t even realize he is doing it anymore. He did play pretty well, when he wasn’t standing like a statue. The real issues are at right and especially left tackle.

Everyone has their own opinion about the QB, but he is really good. Did the QB play a perfect game? No. Is he probably one of the biggest reasons we were in it at all? Yes.
Really hard to judge the guy too much when our line was made to look like a bunch of amateurs…..

Rhule has to big coaching hire errors at least IMO right not. Donovan Raoila is in over his head and has never produced a top Olineman draft pick. He has become a better recruiter but not shown to be a top developer. He needs replaced or at minimum an older more experienced assistant to shape him more. His style is old school and out dated.
EJ Barthel needs to be moved on he is not an elite RB receuiter anf your RB coach should be.

After last night, I think Penn State is off the table for Ruhle. They just fired a guy who took them to the playoff but couldn't get over against top-tier teams. Why hire a guy with a similar record?
