Will the democratic party survive?
There was so much talk about fractures in the GOP but now with the election over the democrats are eating each other. Donna Brazille and the poodle Debbie Wasserman-schultz are being raked over the coals for backing Hillary. The Sanders supporters want their own party (socialist-democrat), the establishment will stay, and now Robert Riech is talking third party (who knows).
Without a dictator in charge, which way will the democrats go?

Personally, I believe it doesn't represent African Americans well, nor Hispanics. Each should form their own party to protect their rights. I believe the Koch Brothers, with their interests in furthering Democratic values, might help them financially.

not in its current form that is for sure. they will stay unified for awhile. they are fissures within their ranks but it will be papered over for the sake of unity.
I think the democratic party will get weaker over time to the point of near irrelevance like most 3rd parties.
the two party system will prolly remain unless there are major changes in state laws regarding easier ballot access for other 3rd parties.
Coalition govt. (like most European govts) would be a the new normal.

I might have also meant Mexicali. Perfect country for the liberals to try out all of their liberal ideas - I believe it has a majority Hispanic population. Let's hope those liberals in that state believe in proportional representation.

The Democrats will have their own internal revolution like the Republicans. The intent now is to have the Progressives take over the party just as the Christian Coalition had taken over the Republican Party. The Democrats will survive.
