At least Obama had the sensitivity to exercise his decision without it becoming a reason to engage with an entire country. Seems like any boats off of Venezuela are an invitation for and encouraging into the mainland of Venezuela for whatever reason. This seems like an ill thought out plot my people who don't understand what the Venezuelan bargaining chips are. They're certainly not fentanyl, and while they may be supplying other non-pharmaceuticals to local islands that will eventually make it to the US. This seems to be highly interjectory in the process instead of getting to the big suppliers dealers etc, it's just blowing up supply runs with no quantitative analysis or outcomes. Pete kegSeth might enjoy blowing up a few boats on the water, but the majority of it is coming through other means. Bigger question is what percentage of transport of these products is important to Maduro. And why do we have such a boner for such a low brow punk player.? How did they become so important to engage with, when we don't engage with Ukraine, india, qatar, Pakistan, or even any of the other South American countries that are major producers products purchased by Americans. This is sort of like shooting the person who makes the bags at Walmart instead of all the food that gets made at Walmart. It's dumb and very short-sited.
