So which studios increased their prices? I haven't been to gl since the beginning of this year or last end of last year. Way prior to the std scare, but I missed Lovely while she was her and that would be the only reason I go back. Im not a msog guy, I would need 2 hours to do that.

The rate increase blows, I wish I was around in the golden days. I don't think a boycott would work except for further increasing the prices on those that still go or them just outright leaving the city. If you want things to normalize in price you'd have to decriminalize the activity and then regulate. DFW is a huge market that would otherwise get a lot of activity just due to the number of people here. Everyone would be safer and regular std testing would occur as well as a price decrease and a higher service standard would all happen. Get out and vote

The rates were $200/hr for many many years and didn't increase for a long time.(Years before that it was as low as $150/hr, I remember places on Emerald, Mockingbird and 114) Now recently within just a handful of years some of the rates have doubled. There hasn't really been any push back from consumers except for mostly talk but then they eventually fold. There are definitely more favorable options elsewhere if one is willing to explore other avenues but most people are stuck in what they are doing and don't bother to think outside of the box, therefore they will continue to be stuck in that box.
