I would suggest asking your business contacts for recommendations.
Also what service are you looking for? When discussing what you need be clear.
When it comes to investments? Are you ok with an advisor who puts you in mutual funds vs direct stock investments. Me personally, I want an investment firm that has an inhouse personnel who researches stocks and makes their own investments decisions, not what corporate says to invest in.
I look for an investment advisor who primarily invests in stocks and not mutual funds. You pay the management fee twice, one to your personal investment advisor and one to the mutual fund advisor.
