Hey my weekend opened up and I am really wanting to come out to the Midland-Odessa area. I have never been there before and would love some idea on some good places to eat and stay. I had great suggestions for Abilene and LOVED my hotel and the places had great food! I will be leaving Friday until Sunday (if there is enough for me to do when I get there

) I would love to hear any suggestions.

I am VERY excited!

Were you able to get any suggestions? Me and my girlfriend are coming as well and wanted to know if there was any "must see's" while we were there.

I was actually suggested one certain hotel in Odessa which ironically I stayed at one in Abilene and loved it they have free breakfast and free drinks at happy hour....if you hear anything let me know as well!

But nothing as far as entertainment hopefully I will be busy with my own entertainment!

First time poster here...so be gentle with my suggestions.

Midland has a ton of newer hotels all along the north and west sides of Loop 250. As far as places to eat I would suggest the King & I (Thai) or Wall Street Bar & Grill (Steak/Seafood).

I've never tried Thai food. Maybe I will just have to do that! Thanks for the ideas. It's nice to get out of town and do different things. I'm a lover of good food too! much appreciated.
