JD , try not and turn what is a good all around news into a political bashing of Obama. Just once try and not play the six degree's of separation blame game on all things evil lead back to Obama.

Typical JDIdiot response! Apparently it's Obama's fault that a US Soldier crossed the Mexican border carrying a firearm!

His hatred of Obama knows no bounds.

One thing about JDIdiot, he is consistent. He is consistently an Idiot!

Bush is LONG gone, LLIdiot. The fact, you and your Idiot pals spend your days calling POTUS black, with nary a pot nor kettle in sight.

This forum exists for frustrated mouth breathing knuckledraggers like you and your Klan, errr, Clan, to bash President Obama.

probably the toughest you have felt in your cowardly little lives...

You smack around women, too?

Actually, bigtex, while it is not Obama's fault that a US soldier with PTSD took a wrong turn in a place where there's no opportunity to correct, and ran into a bunch of Mexican scumbags with badges...

... it most certainly IS Obama's fault that he quite deliberately broke Federal law and did NOT demand that Mexico release the man forthwith.

22 USC 1732. Look it up.

Good news indeed that should have come long before this. The fact that our President did nothing to assist is a part of the story. Meanwhile, our President in violation of the law, trades Gitmo detainees for a deserter. Ironic is it not.

As you have said before, this is a political forum. So I put some politics into it and it was the truth. Can't handle the truth? Too bad. However in inspite of what your fevered mind can concoct, no one said that Obama was responsible for the arrest. That is all on you EVA. What is true though is that Obama stood by and let Fox news take the lead. The lead? They were the only ones that kept up the pressure on Mexico. The proof? If Obama had done something that to get the release, he would be on TV right now taking credit but I don't see anything. Have you?

Fox News was heavily following this story and keeping interest up from Day 1.......kudos to Greta Susteren, Montel Williams, and Gov. Bill Richardson.

Obama should have gotten this guy out on Day 2. Kerry and Obama would have let this guy rot to death in a prison south of the border.

Rohrabacher: Obama was ‘AWOL’ in efforts to free Tahmooressi
‘The president didn’t care about it enough to make a simple phone call’

By Kellan Howell - The Washington Times - Saturday, November 1, 2014
A group of politicians’ efforts to secure the release of Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi from a Mexican jail paid off Friday night. California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher says President Obama was “AWOL” throughout the process.

The Republican Congressman told The Washington Times on Saturday that he and California Republican Rep. Ed Royce, former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, and Arizona Republican Rep. Matt Salmon took it upon themselves to fight for Mr. Tahmooressi when President Obama did not.

“The president, who is also the commander in chief, didn’t do his job,” Mr. Rohrabacher said. “There is a lack of concern for this man, for this American hero who served our country. As commander in chief he showed a total disdain and non-interest in an American hero who served us in Afghanistan and a total disregard for the fact that he was suffering.”

Mr. Rohrabacher said that while the Counsel General in Tijuana and members of congress were mobilized to try to save Mr. Tahmooressi, Mr. Obama had gone “AWOL” in the battle.

“The president not stepping forward was a slap in the face to veterans,” Mr. Rohrabacher said. “The president didn’t care about it enough to make a simple phone call.”
