If you want to be special , surround yourself with people that think you so

If you want to be extraordinary , surround yourself with people that challenge your very soul....

Interesting none the less.

Not to backtrack in my own thread.... BUT.....

Found this today. This astrophysicist said how I feel perfectly, so hadta' catch this one to post!

Default Let the games begin!

It looks like you and Yummy will have dueling musing threads!

I like yours better so far....hers are all about herself ....and she talks in third person.

This should be interesting.

Thanks...I thinck.
Although, Yummy is my INSPIRATION for this thread.... On her thread she does post a lot of informative stuff & it's awesome to see, as a lone hooker stuck in the Carolina's anticipating coming to Texas, seeing all of her adventures and discoveries in Houston- thrills me... and I must admit.... I have a huge inner "girly" streak, so Unicorns, Rainbows (sorry not the "gays" one, I mean the 80's child Rainbowbrite!!), and Yummy-sprinkled stuff is very hawt.... hot... Caliente!

I can relate. That's all I am saying. And you forcing any type of competition between the two of us, is laughable at best.
Although.... for shits & giggles with a "random thought" ... I had thought about inboxing her with a proposal to be "forum frenemies" heh.
Wouldn't that be a hoot?
I guess it wouldn't be such a secret if I did that now though! LOL

As you will soon figure out, as well as the rest of them, I can be persuaded, but I can not be forced or coerced.... I'm one hard headed mule here....
My Puerto Rican neighbors jokingly named me "Pendeja." LOL

Good try though!

P.S. If you see Foxy starting to talk about Foxy this or that, Foxy is about to SNAP.... imminent hooker-melt-down.... lmao
Not saying it for others, just a personal FYI. LOL!
But for now I'm good.

I can't claim total credit for my "fun thread idea," although it is pretty random as well as Yummy's, although not all my musings... I am way more ADD than just musings... I like did-you-know's, information, comedy, art... And Yummy's thread inspired me to make my own... After all, it isn't very nice to Hog up someone else's thread, now is it? And with the way I LIKE to post.... I would soon be an eyesore to her, I am sure.
(Kind of like a guest overstaying their welcome! LOL)
So... Why not just make my own thread?
One of the things I learned posting on TER (my starter forum, Eccie is just where I am forced to move to) for the last couple years- is that PERSONA does go a loooong way.... And what better way to establish yourself in posting & persona, than your own thread.
I give Yummy all the credit. It is actually brilliant!!

And.... With the way the "MODTards" give out points like candy for a thread not being "on topic" I figured my OP with the parachute/blanket of "Random Shit" pretty much covers all of our asses.

So, WELCOME
I am honored you posted in my thread as well.

And yes, coffee makes me poop! LOL
I have heard a lot of people say the same damned thing.
And when I google it... Whaddu know?!

http://www.medicaldaily.com/pulse/co...da-dont-347060
Did you know? (source link above.)
Quote:
Between 30 and 40 percent of the U.S. population says drinking coffee makes them poop. Frequent coffee drinkers who don’t feel the need to poop after drinking a cup have likely built up a tolerance.

Scientists know that coffee’s acidity helps with stimulating the distal colon which, in turn, leads to waste being rapidly dispelled from the body. What exactly triggers this effect gets a little more complicated. There are around 1,000 compounds found in coffee, any of which can cause our body to break down protein more efficiently, our stomach to dump its contents quickly into the large intestine, or increase our body’s level of cholecystokinin and gastrin — two hormones that help with food digestion.

Funny/Ironic you should post those videos & ^^^ one in particular!!!!

I have seen the one with the black guy news reporter before...( actually... REMIXED!) One of my ATF- fav's!
Actually, I could kiss you for posting that!!!!

Which lends me to bring up... Melodysheep!
He made the Remix to your reporter video!

Sooooooooooooooo.... I had PBS on the tv one day (yes, yes, in full MILF mode) and I heard a song come on.... and it was freaking auto-tuned version of Mr Rogers clips made into song! I was actually stunned and very amused!

So.... I ended up googling it, and as it turns out- Sesame Street hired MelodySheep, (<- yes a link to his youtube channel) to do a whole series of "AutoTunes" based on very socially historical people throughout our short history of recorded media & then later a Symphony of Science!

These are a few of the subjects he used:
  • Mr Rodgers: the children's program host
  • Bob Ross: the semi-famous (painter) artist with a famous t.v. program
  • Bruce Lee: Do I need to even tell anyone on here who THE BRUCE LEE is?
  • Julia Child: The Martha Stewart before Martha Stewart was Martha Stewart.
  • Bill Nye: The science guy!
  • Carl Sagan: an American astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, science popularizer, and science communicator in astronomy and other natural sciences
  • Steve Irwin: A very nice tribute to him...
  • Robin Williams: As well, a nice tribute, and had me in tears.
(I love me some Robin Williams. R.I.P.)
  • Charlie Chaplin: The silent movie actor from very long ago. Little known fact to "my generation":
One of his very last films contained a dialogue. A speech of sorts... And he addressed mankind as a whole... I don't know how to explain it... but this one had become my Heart-song.... in a way. (That was a reference to the movie "Happy Feet.") Well, repeated on a CD in my car often! If there is one I would urge anyone to listen to at least once, this is the one. It is very meaningful. And if you want to know WHO I AM.... I would be humbled to think this is my song.

This particular film of Chaplin's also earned a 5-star review from Roger Ebert.
Quote:
In 1940, this would have played as very highly charged, because Chaplin was launching his comic persona against Hitler in an attempt, largely successful, to ridicule him as a clown. Audiences reacted strongly to the film's humor; it won five Oscar nominations, for picture, actor, supporting actor (Oakie), screenplay and music (Meredith Willson). But audiences at the time, and ever since, have felt that the film comes to a dead end when the barber, impersonating Hynkel, delivers a monologue of more than three minutes which represents Chaplin's own views....
....
Chaplin (1889-1977) nevertheless was determined to keep the speech; it might have been his reason for making the film. He put the Little Tramp and $1.5 million of his own money on the line to ridicule Hitler (and was instrumental in directing more millions to Jewish refugee centers). He made his statement, it found a large audience, and in the stretches leading up to the final speech, he shows his innate comic genius. It is a funny film, which we expect from Chaplin, and a brave one. He never played a little man with a mustache again.
http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/gr...-dictator-1940

There is also a Science Series, with some very respectable videos towards astrologists, astrophysicists, theorists, and more... all set to (Auto!)Tune.
One even has the voice of Morgan Freeman!
I dig it.
Seriously, I snagged those lil jam's off of Youtube, downloaded as MP3's, and I even rock the Julia Child's "Keep on cookin!" when I'm cookin!

It is my very non-conformist attitude that has allowed me to open up & appreciate how very unique and talented some artists are, OUTSIDE of the box or of the mainstream! I love a trendy tune, as much as the next person... but give me something unique, inspiring, or thought-provoking! Gimmie stimulation! LOL

And since I am on the subject of non-conformist Auto-tune amusing video's... I am going to toss out another honorable mention for this HILARIOUS rendition of one guy's Five Guys Burger & Fries review (in which he was INTO THAT DAMN BURGER!!!! ROTFLMAO If all men loved pussy like that man is loving that meal...Just.... DAYUM!!!!! lol!)
But his enthusiasm is even catchier when set to tune!
(Not sure who originally Auto-tuned it, however!)
Oh My Dayum! (Remix) (Now on iTunes, Heh.)

I am really glad you posted those videos, it reminded me of something I truly love that I have found in my online adventuring...
Something that makes me & ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬ .
So thank-you for sharing & this is my share-back!
