Pleasures and major airlines? Maybe we should make our own.

An interesting thought : A short round trip: say, Dallas-Houston, Washington-New Your, or Seattle-Portland, some shuttle route like that. Schedule a long session with a provider and take her to the other place for a mid-day "lay-over" at a nice hotel near the airport— and fly home in time for rush hour. Six hours overall ought to do it.

The "pleasure" in flying involves the hand job under the blanket during the 45 min flight each way.

Tell the family you are going to the office and tell your boss you have a doctor's appointment.

I'm spontaneous as hell! So that sounds like total fun to me!

A commercial jet with private "sleeper cabins" that goes up for an hour or two, and comes back.

Call it "Mile High Airways."

Ok . . .so is this strictly BYO date or are the flight attendants part of the in-flight-service?

I mean, this sounds like a developable idea with possibilities for the swapping lifestyle as well as "private" parties with and without providers.

What about something similar to one of the all-inclusive sex resorts in the DR (Blue Oxygen, Taboo Vills etc) as a business model.

Fantasy aside: How much would the charter ticket add to a provider's multi-hour donation? What about the pilots and FAA regulations? Anyone on ECCIE actually know this stuff?

My guess is that unless I'm willing and/or able to fly on an airline like Cathay Pacific or Quatar (although I've heard that Virgin is appealing) that for me, flying is just going to remain a convenience for quickly getting from Point A to Point B and the actually flying experience is less than appealing.

Is this the general consensus for all of you high fliers?

Best,
Elisabeth

I think a BYO party situation would be more appropriate. That way there isn't any "misunderstandings" with the staff.

Flying: one of the few occasions where the destination is more important than the journey

Back in the early 70's....no metal detector, walk on the plane with no hassle, smoking!, full meal most of the time, free drinks on all international flights. I remember going to Hawaii in about 1976...free drinks, free dinner, snacks, wine during dinner, and a guy next to me that gave me valium! Also nice mini skirts on the stewardesses.
Nowadays, what a horrible experience! I would love to have flown in the 50's and 60's...I'm sure it would have been wonderful!
