Hope you read the grand jury indictment, and realized what the charges are.

The internal memos the GOP participants wrote are already known.

It's a disgrace. How could they delude themselves to think they could get away with this ?

No need to bother with this. Can’t defend the indefensible.

Can anyone defend what Trump and his minions attempted to do in Arizona ?

You certainly are not going to do it by bringing up unrelated information.

In 2017 they tried to get electors to vote for Biden instead of Trump, called Rogue electors. They didn't install a complete new panel of "fake electors".

Again, 2017 is irrelevant to the Arizona fake electors being discussed.

And is Arizona the onley state that had them?

Nope,

Wisconsin had them and so did Nevada- and I believe GA had them ready to roll. The problem is this- the party that wins the state is the one who sends their electors.- a mostly symbolic role that has ZERO impact in MOST cases. In fact if you don't cast your vote as pledged, some states have not only fines but jail-time for the electors.

That said, the case could be made that a "hopeful or desperate" candidate could send a competing slate of electors that are from the party that didn't win-, (as was the case in these states- and prior in the state of Hawaii back when that state had a hotly contested election) and the state government officials and dept of state would allow the party that officially won the contest, or the one that is "alleging to have won" as being allowed to vote.

Kinda of like not winning the actual election but sending a swat team of electors to vote. In the case of those in the states mentioned, the real problem is this- "were they relying on the advice of legal counsel or did they know that what they were doing was actually illegal".

The ones being tried are the ones that did it knowingly. And they should be tried since they attempted to disenfranchise an entire state of voters. Aint no fucking getting out of that - and it will be the same for your Boy DJT when / if the GA case sees the light of day in the courthouse.
